4. Cookies currently used
During ordinary unauthenticated browsing, DropToolkit.com does not currently set confirmed analytics, advertising, affiliate-tracking, newsletter, or consent-management cookies.
A clean-browser audit also found no cookie being set merely by visiting the public homepage, tools pages, blog pages, Privacy Policy, or Affiliate Disclosure.
Limited cookies or browser storage may nevertheless be used when a visitor or administrator actively uses particular functions, as described below.
5. Essential and functional technologies
Essential or functional technologies may be used where needed to provide a feature requested by the user, maintain security, authenticate an administrator, or remember a preference selected by the user.
The current public site does not set a general essential-cookie identifier merely because someone visits a public page.
The homepage includes a theme preference that can be saved in browser local storage when a visitor deliberately selects a light or dark appearance. The stored value remains in that browser until it is changed or removed by the visitor or browser.
6. WordPress administrator cookies
DropToolkit.com uses WordPress to operate parts of the website.
When an authorised administrator visits the WordPress login or administration area, WordPress may use temporary, authentication, session, language, security, and interface-preference cookies. These cookies support login testing, authenticated access, administration security, and interface preferences.
These administrative cookies are not intended for ordinary unauthenticated visitors. Their exact names and durations may depend on WordPress configuration and the administrator’s login choices.
Public user registration and public customer accounts are not currently enabled.
7. Comment cookies
Comments are currently available on the published blog post.
The comment form offers visitors an optional choice to save their name, email address, and website in their browser for the next time they comment. If the visitor selects that option and submits a comment, WordPress may set comment-preference cookies.
These cookies are not set merely by viewing the post. They are associated with the commenter’s optional selection. Their exact generated names and durations may depend on the active WordPress configuration.
8. Akismet and anti-spam behaviour
DropToolkit.com currently uses Akismet Anti-spam to help detect and prevent spam in WordPress comments.
When a visitor submits a comment, the comment submission information and associated technical data may be processed by Akismet and its service provider for spam-detection and abuse-prevention purposes.
Akismet did not set a confirmed frontend cookie merely from viewing the audited public comment form. Akismet is not used or described here as an analytics, advertising, or visitor-profiling service.
9. Browser storage
The public homepage can use local storage to remember a visitor’s selected light or dark theme. The relevant storage key is currently theme.
No browser-storage use was detected in the tools index or the five calculator pages. Calculator inputs and results are not currently confirmed as being persisted in local storage or session storage.
WordPress also includes browser-side feature-detection code that can use session storage for emoji-support information. No such value was created during the clean-browser audit. Session storage is normally limited to the relevant browser session.
10. Third-party and embedded content
The website currently requests font resources from Google Fonts. When the visitor’s browser retrieves a resource from a third-party server, technical request information—such as the visitor’s IP address and browser request information—may be visible to that provider.
No cookie from Google Fonts was observed during the clean-browser audit.
No iframe, embedded video, social-media feed, or comparable third-party content was detected on the audited production pages. If additional embedded services are introduced, they may use their own cookies or similar technologies under their respective policies.
11. Analytics
Google Analytics and comparable frontend analytics services are not currently active on the audited public website.
No analytics cookie, tracking identifier, or analytics frontend script was detected.
If analytics is introduced later, this policy will be updated and any consent required for non-essential analytics technologies will be obtained before they are activated.
12. Advertising
Google AdSense and other confirmed display-advertising scripts are not currently active on the audited public website.
No advertising cookie or advertising frontend script was detected.
If display advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant provider and explain the applicable cookies, purposes, choices, and retention information. Consent will be obtained before non-essential advertising technologies are activated where required.
13. Affiliate tracking
DropToolkit.com may publish affiliate links in the future, but no confirmed affiliate-program tracking links or affiliate-tracking cookies are currently installed.
If an affiliate relationship later uses cookies or similar technologies to attribute a referral, the relevant disclosure and Cookie Policy information will be updated. Any consent required for non-essential tracking will be obtained before such technology is activated.
14. Newsletter and Hostinger Reach
Hostinger Reach is intended to be the website’s future email-marketing platform, but no public Hostinger Reach signup form or frontend Reach script is currently active.
No newsletter cookie or Reach frontend tracking cookie was detected.
Before newsletter functionality is activated, DropToolkit.com will review the actual form, scripts, providers, storage technologies, retention arrangements, and consent requirements. This policy and the Privacy Policy will be updated where necessary.
15. Consent-management platform
No cookie-consent banner or consent-management platform is currently active.
This reflects the present audited state in which ordinary unauthenticated public browsing does not set confirmed analytics, advertising, affiliate-tracking, newsletter, or comparable non-essential cookies.
The absence of a current consent platform does not permit non-essential cookies to be introduced without the notices and consent controls required by applicable law.
16. Future non-essential cookies
If DropToolkit.com introduces analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, newsletter technology, contact forms, new embedded services, or another feature that uses non-essential cookies or browser storage, those technologies will be reviewed before activation.
Where consent is required:
- clear information will be provided about the technology and its purpose;
- non-essential storage will not be activated before the visitor makes an affirmative choice;
- rejecting non-essential technologies will be made available;
- consent choices will be capable of being changed or withdrawn; and
- this Cookie Policy will be updated to reflect the implemented service rather than a proposed or inactive service.
17. Managing cookies in the browser
Most browsers allow users to view, delete, block, or restrict cookies and stored site data. Browser controls may also allow users to clear local storage and session storage.
Blocking all cookies can prevent WordPress administrators from signing in and may stop optional preferences from working. Removing local storage may reset the homepage theme preference.
Instructions vary by browser and device. Visitors should consult their browser’s privacy, security, cookie, or site-data settings for the controls available to them.
18. Withdrawing consent
Where a non-essential cookie or similar technology relies on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.
No general consent-management platform is currently active because no confirmed general non-essential tracking cookie was found during ordinary public browsing.
A visitor can currently:
- leave the comment-preference checkbox unticked;
- remove any previously stored comment-preference cookies through browser settings;
- remove or change the homepage theme preference through the site or browser storage controls; and
